Via Opposing Views: It's Just Lunch, a dating site for professionals, has found that 75 percent of women would not date an unemployed man — although 42 percent of them would be willing to go out with him for a short while. Just 21 percent of the total group of women said they'd date a guy without a job, i.e. a guy who thinks he's fly, and is also known as a buster.
However, on the flip side, men were largely okay with dating unemployed women; 46 percent of men said they'd have no hesitation dating a woman without a job. (Unless you count working towards your MRS degree a job.)
