First it was the "Perfect Ben" teaser, and now this — whoever is in charge of promotional puns at ABC has more than earned their 2015 bonus, that's for sure. A new clip drumming up giddy excitement for the new season of The Bachelor, set to premiere next Monday btw, features all sorts of drama set to The Weather Girls' classic "It's Raining Men." And what rhymes with Men?! Ben!
There are fireworks, a shirtless moment, and a lingerie kiss scene to get your hearts aflutter (wereBachelor Ben not able to do that just with his steely gaze). Also, all sorts of tears, storms, and a girl with a black eye complaining that another contestant hit her, though this must almost certainly have occurred during some sort of physical activity-themed date/challenge, because actual violence and/or fighting is almost certainly cause for a DQ on reality TV shows. Another preview over at Entertainment Weekly features the same contestant being edited as the punch-thrower getting turned down in her request for a big ol' makeout session on the first night (and not taking it well) so, in other words, here's our new Bachelor villain!
Oh, and don't expect her to land the final rose or even last particularly long — Ben tells the new issue of People magazine that "somebody who is very dramatic is not attractive to me." Womp, womp.
